Overview

Who Liquid Web is For:

Liquid Web is best for those who are already earning money with their business since the least expensive option they have is over $50 a month. I realized after a while that a shared hosting account on a budget provider would not cut it even with a simple site. When you are at that level, consider Liquid Web as an option as they will take care of your site and make sure it is up and functioning properly. Alternately, if you have a complicated set-up, which includes running LearnDash or some other WordPress LMS plugin then you may want to consider Liquid Web.

Skill Level:

The Liquid Web dashboards are fairly easy to use and the support is so good that you don’t really need any special skills to use them as a host. The support staff will go over and above for you to make sure you’re happy with their hosting. They’ll investigate any issues you may have.

Deployment:

You’ll login to your Liquid Web account from your online portal. There’s also a mobile site if you’re on the go. This mobile site allows you access to a streamlined version of their Management Interface.

Special Features:

I’ve used the cloud hosting, dedicated hosting, and WordPress hosting at Liquid Web and I can say without a doubt, they will do everything they can to keep you happy and keep your site performing properly! I highly recommend Liquid Web if you’re earning money from your site and want to make sure your visitors and customers get a good experience from your site. Everything is easy to use and intuitive and it just works. I trust them with my business.

The automatic plugin updates for managed WordPress hosting is nice piece of mind. They’ll handle all your WordPress and plugin updates and roll it back if they see any issues. One thing is they are basing the issues on how the site looks with an AI program of sorts. So it’s not assessing it based on functionality. Due to that I don’t have this feature enabled on my most important sites.

Disadvantages:

Liquid Web WordPress managed hosting offers a staging environment, but honestly, it’s not as good as I was hoping for. It’s tricky to push the site to live so instead I make sure everything works on the staging site and then I just repeat the same steps on my live site. This won’t be practical for everything, but does work quickly and easily for me.
