Who are you and what course have you created?
I have created courses on cash flow management, invoicing, accounts receivable management, accounts payable management, profit increases, and budgeting. You can find them all at thecashlab.ca.
What market does your online course serve?
I serve CEOs, business owners, Not for profits, Construction and Franchises as well as Franchisors.
I serve entrepreneurs and those in the business/corporate environments.
What’s the biggest benefit of taking your course?
You will see increases in profits and cash flow, a reduction of chaos in your business. Your business is positioned to be recession-proof, grow, and strategic moves to enhance development.
Other key benefits are the introduction of systems and processes that are effective as your business scales/grows.
How did you get into the market?
I saw the need for CEOs and business owners to have this customized support. While in the corporate space I realized more and more that business owners and other organizations were experts in their field. However, on the financial side, there was a great need to get support to become more profitable, increase cash flow, and be positioned to be recession-proof and there was also a lack of succession planning.
Business owners and leaders were at a loss at which key numbers to use to grow their business or they were looking at the wrong numbers such as using their bank account to run their business.
This led to some companies en route to bankruptcy without even knowing. I saw a lot of gaps and need and I knew I had to offer support and fill these gaps.
Why did you decide to create an online course in the first place?
I want to reach more people and this medium allows that.
Online courses allow more flexibility with the users being able to access when they need to as well and rewatch over and over.
I saw the need to offer these options to a wider range of people, especially with the diverse needs and timezones in which we are operating in these times. Users need greater flexibility as their schedules change and managing family, business, and other areas of life will change.
Did you have any moments of doubt before you created/launched it?
I kept wanting it to be perfect and yes I did wonder if I was good enough. Maybe we all go through that at times over and over. I wondered if I was added enough value and would make a difference.
I felt limited at times to not offer every single solution needed since all businesses are different and need customized solutions.
In terms of the content, I wanted to ensure I met as many diverse situations and well as made it simple, and engaging, and had powerful takeaways to create the change needed in organizations.
If so what made you turn it around and do it anyway?
I thought of the feedback from prior clients and my results and realized I do bring value to organizations. Then I also looked at some of the results from taking steps from my courses which led to increased profits, cash, and sales in organizations.
I saw the importance of structure and systems and how they improved organizations.
What’s your online course like?
Prerecorded includes Video, texts, slides from PowerPoint, graphs, and visuals.
Live online courses are with games, quizzes, and so on.
How long did it take you to create your course?
It took less than 4 hours for my short courses. I first think of takeaways from the courses. Next, I move to create graphics, graphs, and verbiage as needed. Then I review and review to ensure the material is relevant and will lead to organizations operating more profitably.
My live courses took a longer time- hours especially since I customize the content based on attendees.

Do you have a lead magnet?
I have a lead magnet which is a business health quiz, most of my course sales are not from my lead magnet so far though.
I also do quick live training on Linkedin, Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook to allow people to experience my style and get to know me as well. This is another form of lead magnet I use.
